IT’S THE SUMMER OF LADY BIZ

Women lead Crypto, NFT’s, and Media Are Hot Right Now

Welcome to the June newsletter for The Justice Dept, a space where we share business opportunities and news about how our clients and friends are building a system that works for us.

It’s the beginning of Summer and we have exciting events coming up, fresh press in the news for both The Justice Dept. and our clients, and as always, a month's worth of amazing new podcast episodes with incredible woman leaders from across industries.

In recent weeks, great progress has been made like US Soccer reaching a historic equal pay deal. But insight into Fortune 500 companies’ finance proves what we all know- that the most overpaid in business are basically all white men.

Unapologetic: How Jennifer Justice and the Justice Department Empowers Today's Women and Inspires them to Get Rich

An exciting release in Business Insider this month covers everything The Justice Dept. and recent financial stats about the wage and wealth gaps that should encourage anyone to take action to help women get paid.

"In fact, recent reports have shown that the median annual pay for a woman holding a full-time, year-round job is $50,982 while the median annual pay for a man who holds a full-time, year-round job is $61,417. What does this translate to--it just shows that women who are employed full time lose a combined total of nearly $930 billion every year due to this wage gap.

The lost wages result in the sad plight where women and their families would now be without the necessary funds needed to be self-sufficient, save money, or spend it on goods and services.
