How to Change your Destiny

Let’s Get Down to Business

I founded The Justice Department because I wanted to marry my experience as a strategist and attorney with passion and purpose. My passion to advocate and uplift those who haven’t had an equal voice to gain the wealth and prosperity they deserve for the purpose of making this world more equitable, accessible and overall a better place. Along the way, I have met so many other amazing women who share my passion and purpose and I know together, we can make the difference we desire and in our lifetimes because we cannot keep accepting that STILL only 2% of VC funding goes to women - they who control the capital control us all.

But we don’t have to accept this. We can build a world where we support each other instead of relying on others to see the visions that we see as women, solving the problems for us - for ourselves.

And we don’t have to accept what anyone offers us - if they can’t afford us, it’s not our problem, it’s theirs.

A Nette Retreat Adventure

Speaking of passion and purpose, in the beginning of November, I was fortunate to spend some serious quality time with many of these women at the Nette Retreat hosted by my friends and fellow shit starters, Rebecca Minkoff & Ali Wyatt.

We shared stories, climbed ropes and left exhilarated and inspired knowing we have many co-conspirators to have our collective backs.  I can’t wait to see what we build together.

TJD Client WINS!!

Speaking of passion and purpose, TJD Client Madison Calley shows her passion and purpose in this gorgeous editorial she did for Vogue x Dolce & Gabbana.  Listen to how she found the Harp.

And CONGRATS to TJD Client Maria Borromeo named CEO of Mansur Gavriel - a total force of nature in the fashion world paired with a gorgeous and timeless brand.  Experience…Passion….Purpose

Hi, I’m JJ.

Since starting the Justice Dept, I have increased women's wealth by over $70MM in less than 4 years.

Want to know what inspires me to do this work?

My clients' surprised reaction when I manage to get them much better terms for themselves and their companies, whether employment, severance, partnerships, asset sales or investments.

They often admit that they never thought they could get that result. Not even hoped.

This blows my mind.
