when women win, this happens

We have seen the article about Greta, Beyonce, and Taylor - the summer of women wins.
But how do a few peaks in female success impact all of us?
First off, the US economy saw a $2.4B from the Taylor Swift tour.
The market for her shows was predominantly women & girls - they spent the $$.
Money that Taylor got and shared with her whole team.
Not to mention all the cities that benefitted.
Taylor also gave each trucker a check in the amount of $100,000.
To quote Michael Scherkenbach, founder and CEO of Shomotion trucking company, “$100,000 is a down payment on a house or college tuition for a child”.

We’ve long known that women-led businesses are usually supporters of conscious capitalism.
The kind that helps solve the problems on the ground rather than looking to other planets for ways to escape said issues.
But a 2018 Boston Consulting Group global study revealed another striking reality…
Women-led startups produced a hefty $0.78 in revenue for every dollar invested, overshadowing men-led ventures that generated just $0.31.
By matching investment levels, supporting female-founded and co-founded startups could have unlocked an extra $85 million in the studied five-year span.
And that’s not all!According to the European Investment Bank's report, embracing gender diversity could ignite a remarkable 26% surge in worldwide annual GDP, driving a staggering $160 trillion in human capital wealth and increasing business performance by an impressive 15%.

However, despite this huge promise that women’s wealth holds for the worldwide economy, the World Economic Forum’s 2019 report says it will take 95 years to close the gender gap in political representation, while economically they estimate the need for 257 years before gender parity can be achieved.
Given UBS research, which finds that a 10% gender pay gap can lead to a 40% gender wealth gap, which rises to 85% for a 20% gender pay gap, and the impact women have on the economy, this is daunting data for all of us.
So, what are we doing to fix this?
Hi, I’m JJ.
Since starting the Justice Dept, I have increased women's wealth by over $60MM in less than 4 years.
Want to know what inspires me to do this work?
My clients' surprised reaction when I manage to get them much better terms for themselves and their companies, whether employment, severance, partnerships, asset sales or investments.
They often admit that they never thought they could get that result. Not even hoped.
This blows my mind.

And it refuels my lifelong drive to speak up for women. To keep fighting the fight to close the gender wealth gap, close the gender pay gap, the fight for autonomy over our bodies and our lives.
Because that’s what it comes down to.
Financial independence empowers us to ask for that divorce when things go south, quit that job where we’re not valued or even respected, and ultimately, have a seat at the table where decisions are made.
We have never had a system where capitalism was controlled by both genders.
And given that women are known to trickle down their money and use it for the community good, this is something we need to build like… yesterday.
I want to help women like you feel confident that you are properly paid, that you have the right investors, that you have someone to confide in, all of which enable you to focus on what you need to instead of worrying about what you don’t have.
